I do not want to let her go… but I have to. She leaves for Ireland in less than two weeks.. then off to Florence for a month… we want to see her in the UK or maybe Holland in December… (she is traveling the world for an extended period of time… just in case you are reading about Fel on my blog for the first time. She is one of my nearest and dearest…)
So you see, I really want her to stay… so we can have more moments like this…
… when being around her just makes everything seem to glow just a little bit brighter.

This makes me laugh every time I see it. Our dorkiness, captured perfectly, after countless cocktails.
Thank you, Mel. You know how much I love you and how wonderful I think you are. You’ve given me so much in the time that we have known each other; it’s hard to believe that it’s only been two years. But it makes me look toward the future with happy excitement that we get to have more moments like these.

amazing how difficult and how amazing these past two years have been for me. i’m glad my A.D. / new beginning (A.D. = after Dad) is marked with you guys in it.
It has made such a huge difference to be surrounded with the right people.
