My name is Melissa Acedera. I am a twenty nine year old Los Angeles native. I lived in Asia when I was very little and in Seattle, WA for my first two years of college. I have three awesome brothers, Dino, Marc and Robby. And two wonderful parents, Roberto (RIP) and Carmencita — these five people are the most important souls in my life. I love them very much.

I have a deep passion for photography, music and altruism. My other interests float between art, crafts/DIY culture, books, any form of nerdery and travel. Lately, I’ve focused much of my energy on photography and volunteer work. Everyday I am trying to hone my skills as a photographer. I feel I can tell my story best through the use of the lens.

I love exploring and absorbing new things. Going on solo adventures and learning from them… almost daily. This blog is about those adventures and everything else that has captivated me along the way.
